Sleepless nights

The title to this blog says it all.  Every parent has had them and all parents hate them.  But then you start to think....I would do anything for this little bundle of joy and if I have to sacrifice a good nights sleep to make this baby happy, I will.  With 3 kids I've had my share of sleepless night.  My husband works night shifts Sunday night through Thursday night.  And some how the kids always get sick Sunday nights through Thursday nights.  He does good when he's at home but I'm on my own when he's not.  Now Jew Jew has the flu on top of an ear infection and again I'm on my own.  Last night we spent several hours walking around and around our kitchen trying to get her to stop crying and go to sleep.  I haven't done that since she was about 5 months old.  Then when she was asleep she would not let me lay her down.  She wouldn't even allow me to lay in my bed with her.  So we sleep in the recliner in the living room.  My husband got home at 6:30 this morning and he got the big kids off to school and took the baby so I could get a few hours of sleep before he crashed for the day.  Thank God because I would not be typing this if not for that 2 hours of GOOD sleep.  Now Jew Jew is down for a nap and sleeping like a baby. 

Introduction

Let me tell you a little bit of about me and my crew before we get into the real juicy stuff.  My hubby and I have 3 kids.  We will call them Speedy, Wheezy, and Jew Jew.  Speedy is 10, Wheezy is 8, and Jew Jew is 15 months old.  We live in a very small house of about 1100 sq ft.  We love our four legged friends.  At current time we have 8 dogs and 4 cats.  Our dogs are mostly rescues but some we actually purchased.  We own 6 labradors, a beagle, and a beagle/hound mix.  I used to do animal rescue until I realized I was the one needing rescueing from all these critters.  But I love them all.  And so does my kids.  I am a stay at home mom, but I do babysit a baby boy at his home 3 days a week to earn a little extra $$$$. 

This entery is gonna be alittle short, because as we speak my 15 month old is screaming in her bed not wanting to go to bed at 11pm.  Be Back Tomorrow!!!!
